TROUBLESHOOTING

Use the test mode which indicates trouble causes before repairing the unit. This mode records maximum 2 past error causes as codes. Refer them for repairing.

Preparations

If dusts and foreign materials are accumulated on the pickup lens, playback sounds can be skipped or the TOC (Table of Contains) can't be displayed. Clean the object lens and check the playback. When lens are dirty, do the following.

Turn off the power and wipe lens softly with a cleaning paper and a little marketing so as not to damage them. Do not touch lens with bare hands.

If the unit doesn't work.

If the unit doesn't start after cleaning the pickup objects lens lens, check the unit as follows.

Is the power supply turned on when the remote control button or main unit button is pressed ?

Does the display operate normally ?

Is playback state set ?

Yes

Is audio output normal ?

Yes

Is recording/playback operation normal ?
