Basic Operation

Auto playback of image and audio files (Slideshow)

When the input mode is set to USB and a USB flash drive is inserted in the USB port, the image files in the root folder of the USB flash drive will be automatically displayed as a slideshow. If there is an audio file in the root folder, the audio file will also automatically play. If you want to present a slideshow in a different folder, see page 21.

TIPS

Playback will also start automatically if you change from an input terminal other than USB to USB with a USB flash drive inserted.

The types of files that can be played in USB flash drive are as follows:

File system

FAT16, FAT32

Image files

jpg (jpeg), png

Audio files

mp3

Bit rate: 32 kbps to 320 kbps

Sampling frequency: 32kHz, 44.1kHz, 48kHz

WMA

Bit rate: 32 kbps to 192 kbps

Sampling frequency: 32kHz, 44.1kHz, 48kHz

(WMA9 files are not supported.)

In some cases it may not be possible to play the above files.

It may take time to reproduce a large-data or high-resolution image. In some cases, reproduction may not be possible.

An image file that includes application-specific information may not display correctly.

A png file with a transparency setting may not display correctly.

Use half-width alphanumeric characters for the folder name or file name. It may not be displayed correctly.

Up to 600 files can be handled in the slideshow folder.

When file names or folder names are long, some characters may not appear in the list screen.

If there are no image files in the root folder of the USB flash drive, the list screen will appear (see page 21).

In PowerPoint, files can be saved in jpeg or png format.

To change data transfer to the USB flash drive or the order of slideshow display, use the USB Flash Drive Media Tool on the CD-ROM. For details, refer to “USB Flash Drive Media Tool Operation Manual”.

During a slideshow, the remote control or some buttons may not respond when operated.

This is caused by the heavy image processing load and is not due to a product failure or problem.
