The idle mode display appears when you are not on a call or using the menu. You must be in idle mode to dial a phone number.

EDGE Signal Strength

EDGE network service is available.

3G Signal Strength

3G (UMTS) network service is available.

3G+ Signal Strength

3G+ (HSDPA) network service is available.

No Service

The phone cannot receive a signal from the system.

Airplane Mode

Indicates that Airplane mode is active.
