To Record from an External

Source

1In Tape Playback mode, press the

DISPLAY button until the mode

screen appears.

2Select “MENU”, then “EXECUTE” by

using the Operation button (see page

32).

3Press l or m to select ~, then

press the centre of the Operation

button.

4Press l or m to select “S-VIDEO

IN”, then press the centre of the

Operation button.

5Press l or m to select “ON” (for S-

video connection) or “OFF” (for video

connection), then press the centre of

the Operation button.

6Press the DISPLAY button to turn off

the menu screen.

•“S-VIDEO” appears on the screen

during a pause or Recording

7Begin playback on the source
