5.1 Firmware Update
1) Please access Netac website: http://www.netac.com.cn
To download the Firmware update program of iMuz to update firmware of iMuz.
2) Copy the firmware update program which download from website into directory \FIRMWARE of iMuz, and
disconnect iMuz from computer safely.
3) IMuz would update firmware automatically when power on
again. Please do not operate for iMuz during update.
4) IMuz would delete firmware file in directory \FIRMWARE and turn power off automatically when update is
over. Then iMuz begins to run new firmware program when iMuz turns power on again.
5.2 FAQ
If your iMuz can not work normally please check it as following. Should any problem persist, consult Netac
Customer Service.
Symptom Remedy Explanation
The battery power is lack. Charge for iMuz I time.
IMuz dose not power on. The “Hold” button is ON. Set the “Hold” button is OFF.
The volume is so small. Augment volume. Unable to hear any sound
when playing. Earphone is connected badly. Connect earphone again.
The buttons is of no effect. The “Hold” button is ON. Set the “Hold” button is OFF.
The USB Cable is not connected. MP3
Player.
Please connect the USB Cable
correctly again.
Driver has not been installed on Windows
98. Please refer to “Driver Installation”.
Unable to connect to
computer.
IMuz is power off. Please power on and connect iMuz to
computer.
Check the system setup whether or
not accord with requirement.
Unable to download files. IMuz is error.
Format iMuz and re-download files.
The available memory space in iMuz may
be insufficient.
Cannot record files The amount of files stored in iMuz may be
reach the maximum of the system.
Please delete some files first.
