Making Calls – Basic Functions

Display backlight

When operating optiPoint410 standard, e.g. when dial-

ling a call number, a display backlight switches on auto-

matically. The backlight switches off automatically a few

seconds after the last action is completed.

Adjusting the display contrast

The display has four contrast levels that you can set ac-

cording to your light conditions.

u or vPress one of the keys while the phone is idle.

> :Select and confirm.

u or vChange the display contrast. Press the key repeatedly

until the desired level is obtained.

:Save.

Selecting the Language of Screen Prompts

Press the key. The LED lights up.

> :Confirm.

qhl Enter the code.

> :Select the language you wish to use (suchas "Spanish")

and press the "OK" dialog key to confirm.

This function is only available with

optiPoint410 standard.
