30Voice message/Mailbox
Most service providers offer you an external answering service. In this mailbox, a caller may leave a voice message for you
•if your phone is switched off or not ready to receive,
•if you do not want to answer calls,
•if you are making a phone call (and if Call waiting is not active, p. 46).
If the voice mail service is not part of your service provider's user package, you will need to register for it and the settings must be made manually. The procedure described below may vary slightly depending on the service provider.
