Note on using NiMH batteries:

After you have inserted the NiMH batteries, we recom-

mend that the mobile unit be fully charged and then dis-

charged until the bat tery warning beep is heard, i.e.

without replacing the batteries in the charging shell. This

ensures that the charge status display7 of the

mobile unit is adapted to the increased operating life of

the NiMH batteries.

Thereafter, y ou can place your mobile unit in the charging

shell each ti me it is used . Chargin g is electronically con-

trolled, so th at the batteries are charged optimally.
