5.2 Batteries
Handling the remote control and batteries:
-Avoid exposing the remote control to heat and humidity
-When not using the remote control for a long period of time, remove the batteries.
-Avoid using the RC 3000 remote control with the infrared control and service light on for a long time as battery life would then be reduced.
-Do not use new and old batteries together or batteries of a different voltage or type.
-Handle the remote control with care.
-Use the remote control within its operating range (about 10 metres and a 30° angle)
Note: The RC3000 remote control is powered by four AA 1.5 V batteries and one 9V battery, IEC6F22.
5.4 Turning the projector on
Press the mains switch; the red
Press , or one of the buttons from 1÷9.
The red LED becomes green ON.
A white screen appears with the message indicated below.
FOR AN OPTIMAL USE THE WHITE
PATTERN WILL REMAIN ON THE
SCREEN FOR 10 MINUTES !

Always leave the projector to warm up for ten minutes after switching it on.
The message disappears temporarily after about 40 seconds after which it reappears for 5 seconds at approximately 40 second intervals.

Press any key to exit from the initial screen and to see the picture immediately after having turned the projector on if, for instance, the adjustment has been completed and warming up is unnecessary.
Press to switch off and then move the power switch round to OFF.
5.5 Picture adjustment
To change the contrast, brightness, colour, hue and peaking directly you can use the following buttons:
