zKeep the default setting to connect the camera to any access point under the infrastructure network mode.

zTo connect the camera to a specific access point, set the SSID of the camera to correspond with the access point’s ESSID. The channel will be adjusted automatically.

zTo connect the camera to an ad-hoc wireless workgroup (without central access point), set the wireless channel and SSID of the camera to match with the computer’s configuration.

Click Site Survey to display the available wireless networks, so that you can easily connect to one of the listed wireless networks.

-Wireless Mode: Select the type of wireless communication for

the camera: Infrastructure or Ad-Hoc.

-Channel: Select the appropriate channel from the list.

-Authentication: Select the authentication method to secure

the camera from being used by unauthorized user: Open, Shared-key, WPA-PSK, and WPA2-PSK. The following table explains the four options:
