Zurücksetzen des Geräts

Bevor Sie das Gerät zum ersten Mal benutzen oder nachdem Sie die Autobatterie ausgetauscht haben, müssen Sie das Gerät zurücksetzen. Drücken Sie die RESET mit einem spitzen Gegenstand wie z. B. einem Kugelschreiber.

•Wenn Sie das Stromversorgungskabel an das Gerät anschließen oder das Gerät zurücksetzen, warten Sie etwa 10 Sekunden, bevor Sie eine CD einlegen. Legen Sie in diesen 10 Sekunden keine CD ein. Andernfalls wird das Gerät nicht zurückgesetzt.

•Wenn Sie die RESET drücken, werden die Uhrzeiteinstellung und einige gespeicherte Funktionen gelöscht.

Abnehmen der Frontplatte

Um einem Diebstahl des Geräts vorzubeugen, kann die Frontplatte abgenommen werden.

1 Drücken Sie (OFF).

2 Lösen Sie mit (RELEASE) die Frontplatte.

Schieben Sie die Frontplatte dann ein wenig nach links, und nehmen Sie sie ab, indem Sie sie auf sich zu ziehen.

Hinweise

•Stellen bzw. legen Sie nichts auf die Innenseite der Frontplatte.

•Achten Sie darauf, daß die Frontplatte beim Abnehmen nicht herunterfällt.

•Wenn Sie die Frontplatte abnehmen, solange das Gerät noch eingeschaltet ist, schaltet es sich automatisch aus, damit die Lautsprecher nicht beschädigt werden.

•Bewahren Sie die Frontplatte beim Transportieren im mitgelieferten Behälter auf.

•Schützen Sie die Frontplatte vor direktem Sonnenlicht, vor Wärmequellen wie Warmluftauslässen und vor Feuchtigkeit. Wenn das Fahrzeug in der Sonne geparkt ist, legen Sie sie nicht auf das Armaturenbrett, da sie sich sonst zu stark erhitzen kann.

Anbringen der Frontplatte

Setzen Sie Teil A der Frontplatte wie in der Abbildung dargestellt an Teil B des Geräts an, und drücken Sie die Frontplatte an, bis sie mit einem Klicken einrastet.

•Achten Sie beim Anbringen der Frontplatte darauf, daß sie richtigherum ausgerichtet ist. Die Frontplatte kann nicht andersherum angebracht werden.

•Wenden Sie beim Festdrücken der Frontplatte keine Gewalt an. Ein leichter Druck reicht aus, um die Frontplatte am Gerät zu befestigen.

•Drücken Sie nicht stark auf die Displays an der Vorderseite der Frontplatte.

Warnton

Wenn Sie den Zündschlüssel in die OFF- Position stellen, ohne die Frontplatte abzunehmen, ertönt einige Sekunden lang ein Warnton (nur wenn der Schalter POWER SELECT an der Unterseite des Geräts in der Position A steht).
