When inserting the speaker cord plugs into the SPEAKER terminals on the unit, press in the plugs all the way until they click. When unplugging the speaker cords, press the protrusions on the plugs and pull out the plugs.

Keep the speaker cords away from the antennas to prevent noise.

Do not place the surround speakers on top of a TV. This may cause distortion of the colors in the TV screen.

Be sure to connect both left and right surround speakers. Otherwise, the sound will not be heard.

Tip

When positioning the front speakers higher than floor level, using the speaker stand WS-MC1 (not supplied) is convenient.

Turn on the TV and select the video input so that you can view the pictures from this system.

When connecting a video deck

Connect the TV and the video deck using video and audio cords (not supplied) as shown below.

Extend the FM lead antenna horizontally

If you connect a video deck between this system and the TV, you may experience video leakage when watching the video signal from this system. Do not connect a video deck between this system and the TV.

Note

Do not place the TV on this system.

To listen to TV, press FUNCTION repeatedly to select “TV”.
