Use a video cord (not supplied) to connect a TV. If your TV accept progressive format file signals, you must use this connection and set the “PROGRESSIVE” setting to “PROGRESSIVE AUTO” or “PROGRESSIVE VIDEO”

EVIDEO OUT jack

Use a video cable (supplied) to connect the video input of TV to this jack.

FS VIDEO OUT jack

Use an S video cord (not supplied) to connect an optional TV to this jack. You can enjoy higher quality video images.

Listening to audio from a connected component

Use buttons on the unit for the operation.

1 Connect audio cords.

See “Hooking up optional components” on page 55.

2 Press VIDEO/SAT to switch the function to “VIDEO” or “SAT”.3 Start playing the connected component.

Notes

If you cannot select “SAT”, by pressing VIDEO/ SAT, hold down VIDEO/SAT, then press ?/1 while the power is on. The function will change from “VIDEO” to “SAT”, and “SAT” will appear in the display. To change back to “VIDEO”, repeat the same procedure.

If the sound is distorted or too loud when “VIDEO” is selected or you want to switch back to “SAT”, repeat the operation described above to switch to “SAT”.
