Operating the THEATRE SYNC function

Point the remote to the direction of TV and this unit, then press THEATRE SYNC once.

If this function does not work, change the transmit time. The transmit time varies depending on the TV.

To change the transmit time

Press and hold TV CH +* while entering the code for transmit time (see the table) using the number buttons.

The transmit time from the remote is selected.

* Functions as both TV CH + and PRESET + button.

Note

•This function is only for Sony TVs. (This function may not work on some Sony TVs.)

•If distance between TV and this unit is too far, this function may not work. Install the unit near the TV.

•Keep the remote pointed in the direction of the TV and this unit while entering the code.

Enjoying Karaoke

You can enjoy karaoke (singing along with a disc) by setting the system to karaoke mode. You can connect two microphones (not supplied)* to the unit.

*Only Russian models, supplied with one microphone.

Setting the system to karaoke mode1 Press FUNCTION repeatedly until “DVD” appears in the front panel display.2 Plug a microphone into the MIC 1 or MIC 2 jack.
