xLEVEL

You can vary the level of each speaker as follows. Be sure to set [TEST TONE] to [ON] for easy adjustment.

CENTER	Adjusts the level of the center
0 dB*	speaker (–6 dB to +6 dB, 1 dB
(appears when	increments).

SURROUND	Adjusts the level of the surround
LEFT 0 dB*	speakers (–6 dB to +6 dB, 1 dB

SURROUND	Adjusts the level of the surround
BACK	back speaker (–10 dB to +10 dB,
0 dB	1 dB increments).

SUBWOOFER	Adjusts the level of the subwoofer
+4 dB*	(–6 dB to +6 dB, 1 dB increments).

*When you perform the Quick Setup (page 33), the default settings are changed.

xBALANCE

You can vary the balance of the left and right speakers as follows. Be sure to set [TEST TONE] to [ON] for easy adjustment.

FRONT Adjusts the balance between the front (CENTER) left and right speakers.

The center position is shown as

“---.” (You can adjust from the center 6 steps to left or right.)

To adjust the volume of all the speakers at one time

Use the VOLUME control on the system, or press VOL +/–.

xTEST TONE

The speakers will emit a test tone to adjust [LEVEL] and [BALANCE].

OFF The test tone is not emitted from the speakers.

ON The test tone is emitted from both left and right speakers simultaneously while adjusting balance. When you select one of the [SPEAKER SETUP] items, the test tone is emitted from each speaker in sequence.
