Press ORETURN. “EDIT” disappears from the Disc Browser.

To correct the characters

You can correct the characters using the .–/>+ dial on the player or ./> on the remote. To use the

.–/>+ dial, press DIRECT SEARCH to turn it on.

•To erase the characters:

1Move the cursor to the character you want to erase by pressing . or > or by turning the .–/ >+ dial.

2Press CLEAR.

•To insert or overwrite the characters:

1Move the cursor to the character you want to correct by pressing . or >.

2Select the correct character by pressing </M/m/, or by turning the click shuttle.

3To insert the character, press ENTER.

To overwrite, don’t press ENTER but move the cursor by pressing > or by turning the .–/ >+ dial clockwise.

Notes

•Do not tur n of f the player by pr essing !. Doing so may cancel

the settings. When you tur n of f the player , press xfirst to stop playback and then pr ess ?/1on the r emote. After the power

indicator lights up in r ed and the player enters standby mode,

 

press !on the player .

 

• You can label up to 301 discs. When you have the player stor

e a

new disc in memor y, the data for the old disc is erased.

 

•Even if you have r emoved the disc fr om the player , the disc

infor mation of the disc r emains on the Disc Br owser until you load the disc infor mation again by pr essing LOAD or place a new disc in the same slot and play it.
