Controlling the volume of your AV amplifier (receiver) with the remote

1 Slide the TV/DVD switch to DVD.

2 Hold down [/1, and enter the manufacturer’s code for your AV amplifier (receiver) using the number buttons (see “Code numbers of controllable AV amplifiers (receiver)” below).

3 Release [/1.

The VOL +/– buttons control the AV amplifier’s volume.

If you want to control the TV volume

Slide the TV/DVD switch to TV.

*If you cannot control the volume of your Sony AV amplifier (receiver) with the remote, try entering the code number 91, and change the command mode of your amplifier (receiver) to “COMMAND MODE [AV1]” (not all amplifiers have this option).

Refer to the instructions supplied with your amplifier (receiver) to change the command mode.
