This chapter describes various functions for playback.

1Open and turn the monitor and adjust the tilt and swivel.

2 Press DVD to turn on the player.

3Press Z OPEN/CLOSE to open the disc tray, and place a disc on the disc tray.

With the label side up

4Press Z OPEN/CLOSE to close the disc tray.

•DVD/Video CD

Playback starts automatically.

If playback does not start automatically, press u (Play/Pause) to start playback.

•CD

The total play time appears. Press u (Play/ Pause) to start playback.

5Press VOLUME [VOL] + or – to adjust the volume.

To turn off the power

Press OFF.

Notes

•Read the operating instructions supplied with the disc to play with this unit.

•Depending on the recording method used on the disc, it may take a minute or more before playing.

•Depending on the condition of the disc, it may not play back (page 33).

•“DVD” also appears in the Clock Display Window, if you inserted the disc (DVD/VCD/CD).
