Notes

You cannot select the Effect mode if the TV's speaker is set to off.

The Effect mode is valid only on the TV’s speakers. So you cannot enjoy sound effects of SRS WOW when you listen to a program through the AUDIO OUT jacks or on headphones.

SRS WOW may be restricted in the effects it produces when you listen to a program in monaural.

Tip

You can adjust other sound quality options. For details, see “Adjusting the Sound Quality” on page 39.

To cancel the Power Saving mode

Press POWER SAVING again. “Power Saving:Standard” appears.

Tips

If you turn off the TV while the Power Saving mode is on, the mode stays on next time you turn on the TV.

You can adjust picture quality options, such as “Picture” and “Brightness,” even if the Power Saving mode is active (See page 38). Note that if you increase “Picture” or “Brightness,” power consumption is not reduced.
