To select the Setup Menu

1Press MENU.

2Move the joystick to the Setup icon q and press @.

3Use the joystick to scroll through the features.

4Press @ to select a feature. That

5Use the joystick to scroll through _ the options.

6Press @ to select the desired option.

7Press MENU to exit the menu screen.

The Setup menu includes the following options:

Caption Vision Allows you to selectfrom threeclosedcaptionmodes(for programsthatarebroadcastwith closedcaptioning).

OFF		Turnsoff CaptionVision.
ccl,	cc2,	Displaysa printedversionof the
cc3,	cc4	dialogor soundeffectsof a program.
		(Shouldbesetto CC1 for most
		programs.)
TEXT1 , TEXT2,		Displaysnetwork/stationinformation
TEXT3, TEXT4		presentedusingeitherhalf or the
		wholescreen(if available).For closed
		captioning,setto Ccl.
XDS		Displaysa networkname,program
(Extended Data		name,programlength,andtimeof the
Service)		showif thebroadcasteroffersthis
		service.
