Long-time recording (MDLP)
Select each recording mode according to the recording time that you want.
Stereo recording is possible at 2 times (LP2) or 4 times (LP4) the normal recording time.
MDs recorded in monaural, LP2, or LP4 mode can be played back only on MD players or recorders with a monaural, LP2, or LP4 playback mode.
Audio components that support the LP2 or LP4 modes are indicated
by the or logo marks.

1 Press REC MODE repeatedly to select the desired recording mode.
Each time you press REC MODE, the display changes as follows.
