To remove a PC card

Follow the steps below when you remove the PC card while your computer is on. If the card is not removed properly, your system may not work well. When your computer is off, skip steps 1 to 5.

1Click the Start button on the Windows 98 taskbar.2Point to Settings and click Control Panel.3Double-click PC card.

4From the list that displays, click the PC card you want to remove, then click the Stop button.

5Click OK when “You may safely remove the device” appears.6Press the PC card release button.7Grasp the card and pull it out.
