6Before you remove the module from its package, touch a metal part of the computer to discharge any static electricity accumulated on your body. Remove the module from its protective package.
7Install the memory module by holding the module edge connector pointing down and the notch on the right, and then insert it diagonally into an empty slot.
8Lower the memory module until it clicks into place on both ends.
1Slide the memory module into the slot.
2Snap the connectors into place when the board is correctly seated.
