7Insert the PC card slot protector into the empty slot.
✍For some PC cards, if you alternate between normal power operation and the System
Suspend or System Hibernation power saving modes while the card is inserted, you
may find that a device connected to your system is not recognized. Reboot your
system to correct the problem.
If you choose and remove the USB Disk, the internal memory stick becomes disabled.
If you have removed the USB Disk by mistake (instead of the USB floppy), take the
following steps to recover it (Windows Me only).
1 Open the start menu, select Settings, Control Panel, and then the
System icon. (If you cannot find the icon you are looking for, click the
hyperlink “Display all the options of Control Panel”.) The Device
Manager appears.
2 Click the Refresh button.
3In the “Stop a Hardware device” dialog box, confirm that the device
can be safely removed from the system. Click OK.
