Change Receiver ID If you are using more than one satellite receiver in the same room you may want to change the receiver ID to avoid any interference. If you are not using the RF antenna supplied with the SAT-A65A DIRECTV® Receiver, the ID can be either “50” or “51”.

If you are using the RF antenna and RM-Y807 remote control (SAT-A65A only), the RF ID can be a number from 00 to 15.

1.Press the CODE SET button on the remote control.

2a. Changing IR receiver ID: Check that the RF antenna is not connected to the satellite receiver. Enter the desired receiver ID number, either “50” or “51”, and press the SELECT button twice.

2b. Changing RF receiver ID: Check that the RF antenna is connected to the satellite receiver and that you are using the RM-Y807 remote control (SAT-A65A only). Enter the desired receiver ID number from “00 to “15”, and press the SELECT button twice.

3.Check that the ID has been successfully set by testing the remote control to see that it controls that satellite receiver.

Set output channel Use the Output Channel menu button to toggle between channels 3 and 4, whichever is unused in your area.

Input key enable/disable The Input Key menu button allows you to turn the remote control TV/SAT button on and off.

Lock a channel Use the Channel Set menu button to set the DIRECTV Receiver to permanently stay on a specific channel. When you enter a channel number (5-0-0, for example) then select OK, the receiver will always power up on that channel (channel 500 in this example). The receiver will ignore any attempts to change the channel. Set this option to “Off” to permit normal channel selection.
