zUsing the Setup display

Using the Setup display, you can change the initial settings, adjust the picture and sound and set various other output options. You can also choose a language for subtitles, restrict playback by children, and so on. For details on the Setup display, refer to pages 42 to 53.

1 Select the (Setup) icon using the directional buttons and press the ✕ button.

The Setup display appears.

2Select the category you want using the directional buttons and press the ✕ button.

The category is selected and the menu becomes active.

3Select the item you want to change using the directional buttons and press the ✕ button.

The item is selected and the sub-menu becomes active.

4Select or input changes to the sub-menu(s) as appropriate.

To save your changes, be sure to eject the DVD before pressing the

1 (standby)/RESET button or turning off the console with the MAIN POWER switch. Please note that changes will not be saved if you reset or turn off the console without first ejecting the DVD.
