The auto safety system is triggered to protect your tape and the unit’s mechanism when there is something wrong with the tape or when the mechanism is overloaded. Press ON/STANDBY to restart the unit. If the unit does not work after pressing ON/STANDBY again, disconnect the mains lead from the mains. Wait for at least 15 seconds. Then reconnect mains, and press ON/STANDBY again. If the unit still does not work, please consult your nearest Sony service facility.

Playback

The playback picture does not
