When using a Windows Vista-based computer

1On the computer screen, click [Control Panel] from the [Start] menu, then click [System and Maintenance], and [Power Options].

The [Power Options] window appears.

2Click [Change when the computer sleeps].

The [Edit Plan Settings] window appears.

3Select the go to standby time in [Put the computer to sleep].

4In the [Edit Plan Settings] window, click [Change advanced power settings].

The [Advanced Settings] window appears.

5Click the “+” next to “Sleep”, and then click the “+” next to “Hibernate after”.

6Click [Settings].

Tip

Depending on your computer, [On battery:] and [Plugged In:] may appear instead of [Settings].

7Select the go to hibernate time.

8Click [OK].

9In the [Edit Plan Settings] window, click [Save Changes].

Note

Set the go to standby or hibernate time longer than [after 3 mins].

Tip

If you set the value to [Never], the power remains on.
