Server Settings

 

You can set to connect to a server automatically; and can delete a

 

 

 

server from the history list.

You can set to connect to the last connected server automatically in PC

Notes

You cannot output the audio to both the speakers and the LINE OUT and OPTICAL OUT jacks at the same time.

If headphones are plugged into this device, the audio is output to the headphones regardless of this setting.

You cannot adjust the volume when [Line/Optical] is selected.

You may not be able to play some content when outputting to the OPTICAL OUT jack.

When you output the audio to the OPTICAL OUT jack, you cannot record the audio by using a recording device which has an optical input jack (such as MD or DAT), as SCMS (Serial Copy Management System) prevents the recording.

AUX Sensitivity You can adjust the sensitivity of the AUX jack to match the output level of the audio device connected to the AUX jack.

Normal (for connecting to a portable audio device, such as a Walkman) (default)

Low (for connecting to a stereo component, etc.)

You can change this setting only when you are in Auxiliary Function.

Backlight

You can set whether the backlight of the display window and control

 

panel always stays on or goes on/out automatically while this device is

 

turned on.

 

Auto On/Off - The backlight turns off automatically after 90

 

 

seconds elapses without operations. When the backlight is off, if you

 

 

stand in front of this device or operate it, the backlight lights up

 

 

automatically (default).

 

Always On - The backlight always stays on.

Notes

If the AC adapter is plugged into this device and it is in standby mode, the backlight of the display window always stays on regardless of this setting.

If the USB cable is plugged into this device, the backlight of the keys stays off.
