Notes
You cannot output the audio to both the speakers and the LINE OUT and OPTICAL OUT jacks at the same time.
If headphones are plugged into this device, the audio is output to the headphones regardless of this setting.
You cannot adjust the volume when [Line/Optical] is selected.
You may not be able to play some content when outputting to the OPTICAL OUT jack.
When you output the audio to the OPTICAL OUT jack, you cannot record the audio by using a recording device which has an optical input jack (such as MD or DAT), as SCMS (Serial Copy Management System) prevents the recording.
AUX Sensitivity You can adjust the sensitivity of the AUX jack to match the output level of the audio device connected to the AUX jack.

Notes
If the AC adapter is plugged into this device and it is in standby mode, the backlight of the display window always stays on regardless of this setting.
If the USB cable is plugged into this device, the backlight of the keys stays off.
