6Double-click the desired drive.

You can confirm the driver software by selecting the Driver tab, and clicking Driver Details.

7Click OK to close the window.

Make sure an adhesive label is not affixed to a CD or DVD. Adhesive labels can come off while the disc is in the optical disc drive and damage the drive or cause it to malfunction.

If a region code warning appears, the disc may be incompatible with the optical disc drive. Check the DVD package to make sure the region code is compatible with the optical disc drive.

If you notice condensation on your computer, do not use the computer for at least one hour. Condensation can cause the computer to malfunction.

If your TV is connected with a component video cable and your computer’s signal format is set to 576p, the WinDVD BD for VAIO software may fail to play a Blu-ray Disc. To play the Blu-ray Disc successfully, follow these steps to change the output signal format to 576i, 720p, or 1080i.

1Click Start and Control Panel.

2Click Additional Options.3Click NVIDIA Control Panel.4Click Video & Television.5Click Change the signal or HD format under Television.

6Select 576i, 720p, or 1080i and click Apply.
