Upgrading Your VAIO Computer

5Remove the screws, pull the drive holder handle (2) straight up from the chassis, and slide out the drive holder (3).

Be careful not to touch other internal components when removing and replacing the drive holder as it may cause a failure.

Make sure you keep the removed screws out of your computer.

6Slide a new hard disk drive (4) into the drive holder and align the holes on each side of the drive bay.

Be sure to use a lower bay, if any, when installing a new drive.
