SMS Service centre address

The SMS Service centre address is the phone number where your text messages are stored. It is normally imported from the SIM card but if that fails, your network operator can provide you with the service centre address.

To edit an email account

1.On the Email tab, select the account in the list.

2.Select Edit.

3.Change your settings as desired.

4.Select Done.

To delete an email account

1.On the Email tab, select the account in the list.

2.Select Delete.

3.Select Yes.

Character Set Your network operator may also specify the Character set.

Messages stored You can set a time limit after which text messages

Connection type Specify if you prefer to use GPRS or GSM connection as directed by your network operator.

Tip If you send and receive text messages in several countries, you can avoid having to change the service centre address when you travel abroad by entering the international dialling prefix (for example '+') and the appropriate country code for your network operator.
