When the AirCard 402 device is inserted into the laptop computer during lap held usage, it is recommended that the antenna portion of the AirCard 402 device be moved away from the leg to ensure the maximum data rate is available to the user. The AirCard 402 device has been tested for compliance with FCC / IC RF exposure limits in the laptop computer(s) configurations with the side loading PC Card or ExpressCard slot and can be used in laptop computers with substantially similar physical dimensions, construction, and electrical and RF characteristics. This device must not be used with any other antenna or transmitter that has not been approved to operate in conjunction with this device.
