Beef Stock
Makes 2.5 litres
1 tablespoon oil
1.5kg meaty beef bones 1 onion, chopped
1 celery stalk, chopped
1 carrot, chopped
2 bay leaves
1 teaspoon black peppercorns
2.5litres water Salt to taste

Vegetable Stock

4 onions, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
2 parsnips, chopped
5 celery stalks, chopped
1 bunch parsley
4 bay leaves
2 teaspoons black peppercorns
2.5litres water Salt to taste
1.Place all ingredients in the pan. Place the lid on. Using the Slow Cooker mode, cook on LOW for 6 hours or HIGH for 3 hours.
