6-4 The Adaptec Flash Utility
The Adaptec Flash Utility (AFU) allows administrators to update, save, and manage RAID controller fi rmware BIOS and NonVolatile RAM. The utility is text based.
It is recommended that, although the AFU provides safeguards against improper confi guration, AFU management should be performed by an experienced technician or administrator. Improper use may damage the RAID controller.
