SERVICE & ADJUSTMENTS
Hydro Belt Routing & Replacement
Removal
9Disconnect spark plug wire 9Apply parking brake
9Disconnect wiring from electric clutch
9Remove clutch stop weldment (9973TK)
9Remove t he engine to deck belt
9Disconnect idler spring
9Disconnect tension idler
9Remove belt from the engine pulley and from the Hydro pulleys
Replacement
9Install new belt by placing it around the engine pulley and the hydro pulleys. Refer to routing diagram below.
9The belt will be loose at this time
9Tightly secure the belt tension back to its original position
9Reinstall the belt from the engine to the deck
9Reconnect wiring to the electric clutch
9Reconnect spark plug wire
