Writing and Rewriting CDs
If you purchased a drive with the CDRW capability and are running the Windows® 98/Me/2000/ XP operating system, you can write and rewrite CDs after installing a third party writing software, such as Easy CD Creator™. For your convenience, the Easy CD Creator software is supplied. To install the writing software:

Operating Hints
•Use the emergency eject mechanism only if the cardbus drive is not connected to your computer or if the computer’s battery is flat and there is no power available for the eject button. Excessive use of the emergency eject mechanism may damage it and cause the mechanism to stop working.
