Note:
To simplify explanations, instructions in this manual mainly refer to the names of the buttons and knobs on the front panel. Associated buttons on the remote control unit will also operate similarly.
aSTANDBY/ON ()
Press this button to turn the unit on or put it in the standby mode.
bNumeric buttons
In CD/USB/SD CARD mode, use these buttons to select a track/file number.
For how to select a track/file number, see page 26.
In TUNER mode, use these buttons to select a preset station.
cCLEAR
When programming tracks/files, use this button to clear the input track/file number.
dSearch (m/,)
In CD/USB/SD CARD/iPod mode, use these buttons to search for a part of a track/file/song.
In TUNER mode, hold down these buttons to start auto tuning.
eSTOP (H)
In CD/USB/SD CARD mode, use this button to stop playback.
<This button does not work in iPod mode.
fPLAY/PAUSE (y/J)
In CD/USB/SD CARD/iPod mode, use this button to start or pause playback.
In iPod mode, hold down this button to put the iPod in the sleep mode.
gMENU
In iPod mode, use this button to go back to the previous menu. This button is equivalent to the MENU button on your iPod.
hENTER
When programming a track/file, use this button to confirm the track/file selection.
In iPod mode, use this button to confirm selection in menus. This button is equivalent to the Center button on your iPod.
