You can search for stations by programme type.
This function is available only on RDS services of FM waveband in Europe.
1Press the SOURCE button repeatedly to select “TUNER FM”.
2Press and hold the RDS button for more than 3 seconds.
“RDS PROGRAM TYPE” appears on the display.
<When RDS Clock time (CT) mode is selected, this function is not available.
3 Select a desired programme type using the MULTI JOG knob.
You can select from 31 kinds of PTY programmes. The programme type blinks.
< You can also use the Cursor buttons (° / °) on the remote control unit to select a programme type.
4Press the ENTER button.
The programme type stops blinking.
5Turn the MULTI JOG knob.
The unit starts searching.
<You can also start searching by pressing the Cursor
button (° or °) on the remote control unit.
< When the programme that you have selected is found, searching stops and the programme type will be displayed.
< If a matching programme type is not found during PTY Search, it will stop at the first frequency.
< If you want to stop searching, press the RDS button.
