FSTANDBY/ON
Press this button to turn the unit on or put it in the standby mode.
The standby indicator lights when the unit is in the standby mode. When the unit is turned on, the standby indicator goes off.
GPHONES jack
For private listening, insert the headphones plug into this jack, and adjust the volume by turning the VOLUME knob.
HUSB port
Connect an external USB storage device.
ISD memory card slot Insert an SD memory card.
JSOURCE
Use this button to select a source.
KTONE/BAL
Use this button together with the MULTI JOG knob to adjust bass, treble and balance.
LMENU/FM MODE
In iPod mode, use this button to go back to the previous menu. This button is equivalent to the MENU button on your iPod.
In TUNER FM mode, use this button to select stereo or monaural.
MStop (H), RDS (For Europe) Stop (H) (For North America)
In CD/USB/SD CARD mode, use this button to stop playback.
In TUNER FM mode, use this button to select an RDS mode. (Only for Europe)
NPlay/Pause (y/J)
In CD/USB/SD CARD/iPod mode, use this button to start or pause playback.
OOpen/Close (L), TUNING MODE/ENTER
In CD mode, use this button to open and close the disc tray.
In iPod mode, use this button to confirm selection in menus. This button is equivalent to the Center button on your iPod.
In TUNER mode, use this button to select the tuning mode.
While setting the timer or the clock, use this button to set the time.
