Connection Sequence

1. power cable --> drive

2. USB cable --> drive

3. USB cable--> computer

4. power cable-->AC outlet

4.Connect the smaller plug on the USB interface cable to a USB port on the computer.

Note: If you are connecting the cable to a USB hub, use a USB hub that features an AC Power adapter.

5.Insert the male plug of the AC power cable into an AC power outlet.

This step turns on the power to the PortaCD-RW drive and concludes this procedure. Please see “Installing the Driver Software” on page 11.
