Installing the Driver Software on Windows 98SE/Me Systems

3.Select the Recommended option, then click the Next button.

The system displays an Add New Hardware Wizard panel that asks if you want to specify the location of the driver software (Figure 8).

4.Insert the provided ﬂoppy diskette, which contains the USB driver soft- ware, into the computer’s ﬂoppy disk drive.

5.Select the Floppy disk drive option, then click the Next button.

Windows locates the FREECOM CABLE USB and is now ready to install the drivers on your system (Figure 9).

6.Click the Next button.

The system completes the installation of the driver software and displays the following panel.
