ASNOOZE button

After the on time is reached, use this button to turn the unit off for 5 minutes.

BBASS CONTROL knob

Use this control knob to adjust the bass level.

CPOWER switch

Press this switch to turn the unit on and off.

DMEMORY/CLOCK ADJ button

Use this button to program tracks or to adjust the clock.

EFUNCTION button

Press this button repeatedly to select a function. Select “CD” to play a disc.

Select “TUNER” to listen to the radio.

Select “AUX” to listen to the external sources connected to the AUX input jacks.

FTUNING button

Press this button up or down to tune in a station.

Press this button up or down to adjust the volume.

KOPEN/CLOSE button (L)

Use this button to open and close the disc tray.

LSTOP button (H)

Use this button to stop playback.

NSKIP/SEARCH buttons (.m/,/)

Press these buttons to skip tracks.

Hold down these buttons to search for a part of a track.

OREPEAT/PRESET button

Use this button to change the repeat mode or select a preset number and station.

PSpeakers (stereo)

QBAND button

Use this button to select FM or AM.

RDISPLAY button

Use this button to change the display mode.

STIMER/SLEEP button

Use this button to set the timer or sleep timer.

TDIMMER button

Use this button to dim the display and unit lighting.

UPHONES

Insert the headphones plug into the PHONES jack, and adjust the volume.

Both stereo and monaural earphones can be used with this unit.

VNumeric buttons

WSHUFFLE button

Use this button to select shuffle playback mode.

XINTRO button

Use this button to start the Intro Check.

YMUTING button

To cut the sound temporarily, press the MUTING button. Press the MUTING button again to restore the sound. If you change the volume during the muting, the muting will be canceled.

ZBASS BOOST button

Press this button to switch bass boost on and off.

AAUX IN jacks

Connect external sources to these jacks.

BFM antenna terminal (with U.S.A./Canada and General export models)

Connect lead-type FM antenna to this terminal.

FM feeder antenna (with EUROPE model)

Tune in an FM station and extend the lead to find the best position for the reception. Then fix it to the wall with thumb tacks or the like.

CAC Power Cord

Plug this AC power cord into an AC wall socket.

The equipment draws nominal nonoperating power from the AC outlet with its POWER switch in the OFF position.
