Libraries
The library lets you locate the various recordings present on the DVR hard disc or the different DVD R/RW discs in your DVD library.
The library groups together the recording names and parameters and lets you look for them using the search functions.The names of the recordings are distributed according to the nature of the files and title in four

The Library screen lets you access the Video library, the (disc) library, the Music library, the Picture library and the Copy to disc and Export to USB functions.
Depending on the recording you are looking for, select the library and confirm with OK. The screen specific to the library appears.
Video library (on the DVR hard disc)
The Video library contains the video and DivX titles you have recorded on the DVR hard disc (TV programmes or films in DivX format).
-Selecting a title then pressing OK to confirm gives you access to the following functions: Play title, Play all chapters, Rename title, Delete title, Lock/Unlock the title, Copy to disc, Clear chapter.
-Selecting a title then selecting Play title gives you access (with the navigation keys) to other functions.
•Play title, to play the title except for the hidden chapters.•Play all chapters, to play the title, even the hidden chapters.Note: Vital if you want to split a title with the Edit menu (page 25).•Rename the title to give it the name of your choice letter by letter using the character grid.
•Delete the title to free up space on the hard disc.•Lock the title (or unlock it) to avoid (or enable) its erasure.•Copy to disc to conserve (archive) a title to a DVD R/RW disc and then erase it from the hard disc.
Note :The type of disc (DVD R/RW 4x, 8x or 16x) has no effect on the copying speed (rate expressed in Mbits) or time.The copying speed depends on the recording quality selected for the DVD R/RW.The copying time depends on the length (duration) of the title to be copied from the hard disc to the DVD R/RW disc.
•Clear chapter to delete all the electronic bookmarks positioned automatically at regular intervals in order to define others.
Note:This is useful when you only want to copy the chapters you want to keep to a DVD R/RW disc.
Playing a Video and PIP title (picture in picture) - While a video title (from a video DVD, DVD R/RW or DVR hard disc) is playing, you can superimpose TV pictures from your recorder’s tuner using the LIVE key. This will let you monitor programmes on a channel while you are watching a video recording.You can change channel with the PR+/PR- key.
