Audio Setup

The Audio Setup menu allows you to adjust the audio output format.

Downmix

This menu allows you to select either Stereo output or Lt/Rt.

The Lt/Rt option should be set when the DVD player is connected to an external sound system such as a Stereo or Surround Sound System. When set, the left and right audio outputs are separated and sent to the external sound system individually.

Custom Setup

The Custom Setup menu allows you to configure the general settings of the DVD player including Parental Control.

Parental Control

This menu allows you to set a suitable rating level to prevent playback of DVD discs which may be unsuitable for children.

The Parental Control feature requires a password to be entered. If you have not changed the password, this will be the default password. For more information on setting the password, refer to ‘Password’ on page 27.

NOTE: The Parental Control feature will only work if the DVD disc supports content rating. Refer to the DVD packaging for more information.
