Measuring principle
When you step on the scales, a very weak electric current is transmitted to your body by the electrodes.
This current, which travels from one foot to the other, is slowed down GB by body fat. This body resistance, known as

Preventing obesity starting in childhood
These scales provide an efficient way of tracking weight problems right from childhood. Indeed, the growth period is when the characteristics of the human body change the most and it is often difficult to detect a drift. Yet a tendency towards obesity, for example, is treated much more efficiently if it is detected early, thereby avoiding that the child becomes obese as an adult. These scales are designed to keep track of the percentage of body fat from the age of 6.
