Functions

The scales provide customised records. They measure and display:

-Your weight in kg

-Your body fat in kg.

They display these results on a graph according to your minimum and maximum range (calculated according to your sex, height and age). The objective is to make sure that your figures are within those limits.

If your body fat is above the upper limit, you should change your eating habits and do physical exercise.

If your body fat is below the lower limit, it would be wise to increase your body fat as it insulates the body, protects it and acts as its energy reserve.

Upon first use, the scales only have «blank» memory numbers.

If the 4 are already taken up, change the personal data.

The results of your previous weigh-in will be displayed automatically then the scales will switch off.

Your personal characteristics (sex, height, age) are saved in the scales’ memory and you are automatically recognised by the scales the next time you weigh yourself.

When you change the batteries, all saved data is deleted.

The scales can identify up to 4 different users, including children under 6.

Operating advice

These scales must be used in accordance with the following conditions:

-The measurement MUST be taken bare foot (direct contact with the skin). The bare feet must be dry and properly positioned on the electrodes.

-It is important to check that the feet and legs (thighs, knees, ankles) do not touch each other. If need be, slide a sheet of paper between the legs.

-The body measurement must always be done under the same conditions, preferably once a week, in the morning (so as not to take account of weight fluctuations throughout the day due to eating, digestion or physical activity) 15 minutes after getting up, to ensure that the body water has spread to the lower limbs.

-Do not measure yourself after a physical effort. Wait 6 or 8 hours to get a significant measurement or measure yourself before the effort.
