The unit is now in command waiting mode. To stop the TAM operation, press the escape ‘C’-key.

7.2.1 Day and time setting

During the handset remote mode ‘TAM MENU’ press ‘0’. The unit will ask to press ‘*’ to set a new day and time. Press ‘*’. The unit will now ask to enter the day and time after the tone. After this tone you need to input the DAY and TIME in the following format: D-HH-MM

-D= Day = 1 for Sunday and 7 for Saterday

-HH = Hours in 24 hour format

-MM = Minutes from 00-59

If the day and time are correctly entered, the unit will anounce the new setting.

If incorrect entered, the unit will announce that it’s incorrect entered. You can re-enter the day and time after the tone. If the day and time are incorrectly entered 3 times, or no further instructions are entered for 8 seconds, the unit will suspend the setting mode and return to idle mode.

7.2.2 Recording and selecting a Outgoing message

During the handset remote mode ‘TAM MENU’ press ‘8’ to enter the outgoing message menu:

To record OGM1, press 3

To record OGM2, press 4

To select OGM1, press 5

To select OGM2, press 6

To hear OGM menu, press 8

To hear main menu, press 1

When ‘2’ is pressed at this stage, the unit will announce the current outgoing message.

By pressing ‘3’ you can record your own outgoing message 1. The voice will invite you to start speaking after the tone. To end the recording press ‘#’.

By pressing ‘4’ you can record OGM 2 the same way as OGM1. Press ‘5’ to select OGM1 and ‘6’ for OGM2

7.2.3 Recording a Memo

A memo is considered as an incoming message that can be picked up later by the user. The max. recording time for a memo is 3 minutes.

During the handset remote mode ‘TAM MENU’ press ‘7’ to start the memo recording. Start speaking after the voice invitation and tone. To end the recording press ‘#’.

7.2.4 Programming the VIP Code

The VIP code is a 3-digit code used to operate the machine remotely (see 7.4 Remote Operation). The VIP code is set to '123' by default.

During the handset remote mode ‘TAM MENU’ press ‘9’. The unit will ask to press ‘*’ to set a new VIP code. Press ‘*’ and enter the new security code after the tone. The new security code will be announced.

Note: If you do not press any keys for 20 seconds, the previous VIP code is saved and the machine automatically exits the VIP setting mode.
