Installing additional memory (optional)

6The memory enclosure shares its space with an optional

Wi-Fi Mini PCI module. If there is no Wi-Fi module

installed, proceed to step 7. Otherwise:

Removing the optional Wi-Fi module to expose the memory

modules

Unclip both sides securing the optional Wi-Fi module

and gently remove it from the connector.

Place the optional Wi-Fi module to the side to expose the

memory module slots.

NOTE: Do not remove the Wi-Fi antenna wires. For assistance,

contact a Toshiba Authorized Service Provider.

The following figure shows the inside of the memory

compartment.

Disk drive problems You are having trouble accessing a disk, or one or more files appear to be missing. Error-checking Your hard disk seems very slow. Your data files are damaged or corrupted. Some programs run correctly but others do not. A diskette will not go into the external diskette drive. The computer displays the Non-system disk or disk error The drive cannot read a diskette. DVD-ROM or multi-function drive problems You cannot access a disc in the drive. You press the disc eject button, but the drive tray does not slide out. Some discs run correctly, but others do not. WinDVD problems: general issues WinDVD controls are disabled. Playback performance is poor. The Root or Title menu does not open. WinDVD performance decreases after making a system change.
