SETTING UP

and manual tune

As an alternative to auto tune, you can tune-in your analogue stations manually.

Until you tune-in analogue channels, when youpress the ATV/DTV button you will see the

Auto Tuning prompt. You will need to run Auto Tune to be able to watch analogue programmes whilst recording digital TV.

Auto tuningYou have selected analogue

TV for the first time.

Press SELECT to start the tuning for Analogue TV channels.This will take 2 to 3 minutes

1	Press the SELECT button on the remote control to
	begin the search for available analogue stations.

xx x x xwill flash and the bullet will move along the line as the search progresses.

EXIT : To exit

2	When the search is complete the TV will
	automatically return to programme position 1.
3	If the picture is not clear you can change the
	station order, using Programme sorting, on

page 14.

Several functions are included in the manual tuningmenu and are covered on the next few pages.

These options will appear as you move across the screen:

Programme:	The number to be pressed on the remote control.
System:	Specific to certain areas. See page 12.
Search:	Search up and down for a signal.
Programme skip:	* means nothing has been stored or the facility
	to skip the programme is ON. See page 13.
Channel:	The channel number on which a station is being
	broadcast.
Manual fine tuning:	Only used if you experience interference/weak signal.
	See page 14.
Station:	Station identification. You can use the P and Q
	or Sand Rbuttons to enter up to seven characters.

1	Press the TV MENU button to display the
	analogue menu bar. Use the S or R button to
	highlight Set up from the top bar.
2	Now with the P or Q button, highlight Manual
	tuning in the menu options and the R button to

select.
